Grodzenski of the Ovnt kuryer to the board of the union protesting their decision not to permit the newspaper to continue to employ Mr. Rikles, a part time translator of German and Polish. He asks them to reconsider, wondering why they are singling out the Ovnt kuryer for hiring an non-union member when all the other Yiddish newspapers in Vilna are doing the same. The union member they sent to take Rikles's place was not qualified for the job.
