Call by the Association of Jewish Physicians in Vilna (Zwiazek Lekarzy Zydow w Wilnie, est. 1908) to other Jewish professional medical societies and individuals in Poland to discuss the need for organizing a countrywide professional union of Jewish physicians. The union would strive to involve Jewish physicians in local government, national health insurance, and professional medical organizations and institutions; assist Jewish practitioners in finding appropriate positions; and represent Jews in the medical profession in and outside Poland.
